Finviz

I have been using Finviz since 2012 or 2013, when I first came across them via a tweet (I think) from Joe Weisenthal, and I actually use it every day.

I decided a few days ago to see how Finviz is doing. €11.4mn in revenue, 61.5% net margins in 2025. It has generated over €55mn in net profits over the past c.15 years.

All these are from Slovakian financial data, which I only recently realized is published for all private companies in that country.

Most of the work at Finviz seems to be done by outsourced firms, as the firm itself had zero staff in the initial part of the last decade and last year had only 3 full-time staff.

Plus, they pay 2-4% of revenues in bank fees, which would line up with what you pay to payment processors. So my inclination is to believe the firm is not monetizing user data (which is surprising!).
